Shouldn't the Republican Debates Include a True Conservative?

For Immediate Release

The Democrat Presidential Debate Thursday night may not have had fireworks but at least they allowed the public to hear from some of the lesser-known announced candidates.

Nearly everyone has heard the names Obama, Clinton, and Edwards, and they generally know where those candidates stand on the issues. But until the debate, Americans knew little about Dennis Kucinich and some of the other candidates. But at the end, the public was glad to hear what some of the lesser-known candidates had to say.

Next Thursday the Republican Debates are being conducted at the Reagan Library and the public, again, will be able to get to know some of the lesser-known GOP candidates, right?

Hardly. Instead of allowing citizens to see all the announced candidates, the one true conservative Reagan-esque candidate, John Cox, has been excluded from the Reagan Library debates.

Why? Good question.

Recently John Cox has been featured prominently on Fox News Channel, on Fox & Friends, CNBC's Squawk Box, a long in depth feature on C-Span, three times in one afternoon on MSNBC and on hundreds of radio shows, but he's NOT allowed to participate in the first Republican Presidential Debate.

Well, perhaps it was an oversight. Maybe Mr. Cox formerly announced his candidacy too late.

Not true. As a matter of fact, John Cox was the very FIRST Republican to formally announce his Presidential candidacy.

Perhaps it is because John Cox has never polled very high.

Not true, again. John Cox just finished first and second place in two South Carolina Straw Polls, ahead of the other so-called "front-runners." Cox even finished 5th in the statewide Iowa Straw Poll of GOP Chairmen, as a favorite of the people in Iowa, while being outspent by the "Rudy McRomney's" in the race one hundred times over!

So then, what possible reason could there be for excluding the candidate most like Ronald Reagan from the Ronald Reagan Library debates?

Republican Presidential candidate John Cox was the first to announce his candidacy last year. Since his announcement, John has been traveling around the country meeting with voters, having visited nearly every county in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. The campaign has mailed literature to voters and aired TV commercials nationwide. John has hired staff or organized volunteers in more than 30 states, and has campaign headquarters established in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. The John Cox campaign for President has spent more than $750,000 to date, which is more than several of the other Republican Presidential candidates combined.

In addition to resources and staff, John Cox has been gaining support and momentum when his message is given an opportunity to be heard:

In South Carolina, Republican Presidential Candidate John Cox finished in first place, beating out all of the other Presidential candidates recently in the Aiken County, South Carolina GOP Straw Poll, and earned 2nd place in the McCormick County South Carolina GOP Straw Poll. On April 21st, two of the largest counties in the state, Greenville and Richland, conducted a Presidential straw poll at their GOP county conventions. By combining the results from all four of these counties, John Cox finished in 5th place; defeating better-known candidates John McCain, Sam Brownback, Fred Thompson, Newt Gingrich, Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Jim Gilmore.

In Iowa, a survey was conducted by IowaPolitics.com. The website contacted all of the Iowa Republican county chairmen during the months of February and March. According to the survey posted on the website www.IowaPolitics.com on March 23rd, John Cox received more support from the GOP county chairmen than Tom Tancredo, John McCain, Sam Brownback, Tommy Thompson, Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore.

John H. Cox, 51, is the first announced Republican candidate for president in 2008. He is a CPA, real estate broker, attorney and investment advisor. He has founded and run five companies. He is the former president of the Cook County (IL) Republican Party. John Cox lives in Chicago, IL with his wife and four daughters.

DEMOCRAT DEBATES SHOWCASED DIVERSE CANDIDATES
Shouldn't the Republican Debates Include a True Conservative?

For Immediate Release

The Democrat Presidential Debate Thursday night may not have had fireworks but at least they allowed the public to hear from some of the lesser-known announced candidates.

Nearly everyone has heard the names Obama, Clinton, and Edwards, and they generally know where those candidates stand on the issues. But until the debate, Americans knew little about Dennis Kucinich and Gravel. Gravel, who's been away from politics for about 30 years, didn't do so bad--and the public was glad to hear what some of the lesser-known candidates had to say.

Next Thursday the Republican Debates are being conducted at the Reagan Library and the public, again, will be able to get to know some of the lesser-known GOP candidates, right?

8. What, if anything, did I leave out that you might want to tell our audience and how can they learn more about your campaign?
